The Barack Obama administration is hoping to ramp up the economic impact of its $787 billion economic stimulus program.
Vice President Joseph Biden said in a conference call with reporters Monday that the stimulus helped create 150,000 jobs in the first 100 days after the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed in February. Biden said the contracts and funding could result in 600,000 jobs being created this summer. ARRA also will fund 135,000 state and local education jobs and 125,000 summer youth jobs...
